The Denton Bible Ministry for 18 to 20-somethings

The Bridge ministry gathers together every Tuesday night at 7pm in the SMC auditorium (2300 E University Dr) for the Bridge. The Bridge is our weekly gathering that provides a place to connect with people all over Denton and to grow in your relationship with the Lord. We would love to have you join us for a night of worship, snacks, teaching, and a bunch of new friends.

We believe the 18 to 20-something years are a huge opportunity for growth and change to happen in your life. So we want to surround our people with a solid community of other believers that are seeking to be fully devoted followers of Jesus. We set up Life Groups that meet in the homes of our incredible leaders every week in order to walk through life together. These groups offer a place to be known, encouraged, challenged, and a place to belong.

Bridge

The Bridge is our weekly gathering that provides a place to connect with people all over Denton and to grow in your relationship with the Lord. We would love to have you join us for a night of worship, snacks, teaching, and a bunch of new friends. The Bridge is on Tuesday nights at 7pm in the SMC auditorium (2200 Nottingham Dr, Denton, TX 76209).

Coffee Co.

Starting at 6:30pm before The Bridge, enjoy some coffee while hanging out with your friends or doing some homework. Free Wifi and Free Coffee!

Music

A time to sing and praise our Lord. Led by fellow College Students, with the purpose to put our minds and hearts towards Christ and His Word.

Teaching

Jake Johnson brings The Word and preaches from the Bible. A time to listen to and apply God's Word to our hearts.

Late Night

Fun and fellowship with other college students. We move into the SMC Commons and play games, sports, and spend time with one another.

Life Groups

Life Groups are small groups designed to surround you with a godly community that knows you, challenges you, and encourages you. We will put you in a group of guys or girls that is led by trusted and amazing leaders at our church. Our goal is the same for all of our groups: provide a place for you to have accountability in your life and walk with the Lord, open God’s Word, give and receive counsel to one another, and run hard after the Lord together.

Lead

Connex

Connex crew! This team is dedicated to getting college students connected to community within the College Ministry. Meeting new students, hanging out with students outside of Church, and helping students feel welcome at DBC.

Media

Media Team aims to provide a platform for the Gospel to be proclaimed and to remove distractions from our presentation. Consists of working in the tech-booth with our Audio, Video and Lighting (AVL) team, and/or content design and editing with our Social Media (Instagram, YouTube, Spotify) team.

Serve

Serve Squad is responsible for assisting with events and activities within the College Ministry. Such as putting out snacks before the Bridge, or helping setup for events and parties throughout the semesters.

Music

The Music Team exists to create an environment of worship to Christ through song. In seeking the heart of Colossians 3:16 the Music team leads worship to remind believers of the infinite majesty of God, for the glorification of God, and the building up of the body.
