Welcome to Denton Bible Church! Since our beginning in 1976, we have been committed to evangelism, discipleship, equipping, and serving in ministry. These four things are fueled by our commitment to the authoritative position and the regular exposition of God's Word. We desire to see a church family that is:
Converted... their faith is in Christ for salvation, thus they are saved
(Ephesians 2:8-9)
Committed (establish)… to God, His word, His people, and His purpose
(Matthew 28:19-20)
Competent (equip)… to know something, to feel something, and to do something in ministry
(Ephesians 4:11-12)
Creative (engage)… able to take the skills and go forth and minister to others
(1 Peter 4:10)
The Power Sweep
The “4 C’s” describe the type of growth we love to see, in people, at DBC. They, along with the organization of the church, the type of ministry leaders and the type of pastor that leads it, come together to form our philosophy of ministry. We call it “The Power Sweep”, and it’s the blueprint for ministry at DBC.
