Dull, Leigh Ann

Leigh Ann Dull is currently in her 40th year serving with Cru, directing an art ministry called Transform Arts. Her call to reach artists and use the arts to impact and change culture began during her 14th year on staff. She loves Artists and wants to help them flourish. She is an artist who loves ceramics and sculpture.

The arts and the church have experienced tension. Often, the art world sees the church as irrelevant and narrow-minded, and the church sees the art world as liberal and unrestrained. We hope to build relationships, trust and credibility as we pursue our art to open the conversation between these two worlds. We believe the arts and the artist are vital to the flourishing of the Kingdom of God. (www.tranformcreative.org)

Transform has 25 staff in 9 cities and a team in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. We seek to encourage generations of artists who not only maintain their faith while working in the arts but also flourish and impact culture. We focus on four pillars of development in everything we do: Artistic, Spiritual, Civic compassion, and Leadership. We run a 9-month art residency program for recent grads in Dallas, TX. We want them to pursue their art and their faith with excellence and help catapult them into their art worlds loving Jesus and creating excellent art. We lead with the belief that Art is a language and it is intrinsically valuable to our Creator and in helping people know and love our Savior.
